Progress Report: Focus On Scale Paying Dividends

When Grounds for Health’s current program year (PY2014-15) began in October 2014, the entire team—from the Board of Directors to the staff on the ground—rallied around a common goal: to focus on scaling our programs in order to reach more women with our screening and treatment services.

After three quarters of our program year, this emphasis on scale has translated to an increase of more than 150% for women screened and more than 200% for women treated.

Thanks to a driven group of USA-based and in-country staff, Grounds for Health has already blown past the annual goal for preventive treatments and is on track to exceed the screening target for the program year 2015 (ending September 30).

These initial numbers show that there are many great things to come as we continue our fight against cervical cancer.
